Paul the apostle said, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, and a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2: 15). Paul stressed that we should be strong in grace: “Thou therefore my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2: 2).

Paul wants us as true Christians to continue in doing the will of God. We must study the Bible in order to know more about Jesus Christ. Paul wrote: “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God must be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Peach the word in season, and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine” (2 Timothy 3 and 4).
